Stay compliant
Meet the FTA's technical and legal requirements for invoice format, exchange and reporting, and avoid penalties for non-compliance.
Geom Technology LLC is building a compliance-first e-invoicing platform for businesses in the United Arab Emirates. Issue, exchange and report invoices through the Federal Tax Authority's Peppol-based framework, without changing how you work.
The Ministry of Finance and the Federal Tax Authority are rolling out a nationwide e-invoicing programme. Businesses will issue structured electronic invoices through Accredited Service Providers, with tax data reported to the FTA in near real time. Paper and PDF invoices will no longer be enough.
Meet the FTA's technical and legal requirements for invoice format, exchange and reporting, and avoid penalties for non-compliance.
Structured invoices flow straight into your customers' systems. Fewer disputes, fewer rejections and shorter payment cycles.
Eliminate re-keying, printing and chasing. Automate validation, delivery and archiving, and free your finance team for real work.
Geom Technology's e-invoicing system is designed from the ground up around the UAE framework. Whether you send ten invoices a month or ten thousand a day, the platform handles the format, the network and the reporting so you can focus on your business.
The UAE has adopted a decentralised model based on the Peppol network. Invoices travel between the seller and buyer through Accredited Service Providers, and tax data is reported to the Federal Tax Authority at the same time.
You raise an invoice in your ERP, accounting software or the Geom portal as usual.
Geom converts it to the PINT-AE structured format and checks it against UAE rules.
The invoice is delivered to your buyer's service provider over the Peppol network.
Tax data is transmitted to the FTA and the status is tracked end to end.
Every invoice and its acknowledgement are stored securely for audit and retention.
The programme is being phased in by business size. Dates below reflect the announced plan and may be updated by the Ministry of Finance and the FTA.
Legislation, the UAE Peppol specification (PINT-AE) and the Accredited Service Provider programme are published.
Pilot programme with selected businesses. Companies onboard with a service provider and connect their systems.
Mandatory e-invoicing for businesses above the initial revenue threshold set by the FTA.
Remaining businesses and government entities join the mandate in subsequent phases.

It is the decentralised architecture adopted by the UAE. The five corners are the seller, the seller's service provider, the buyer's service provider, the buyer, and the Federal Tax Authority, which receives tax data from the service providers.
The roll-out is phased by business size, with large businesses first. Dates are set by the Ministry of Finance and the FTA and may be updated. Contact us and we will confirm the current timeline for your business.
